George Mikan's inaugural jersey for Minneapolis after the BAA (Basketball Association of America) and NBL (National Basketball League) merged to form the NBA. Considered one of the NBA's first superstars, George Mikan was named on the NBA's 50 and 75th Anniversary teams. His dominance in the early days of basketball led to the “Mikan rule” and rule changes like the introduction of the 24-second shot clock and goaltending.
George began the lineage of game-changing centers for the Lakers franchise. Winning 5 Championships for the Minneapolis before their move to Los Angeles.
